What is the difference between a "Reservation Fee" and a "Deposit"?

- Reservation fees are partially refundable and charged in order to hold and reserve your unit.  We charge a reservation fee because we know boat and RV storage is limited around Lake Martin and we want to ensure you are interested in building a relationship with us just as much as we want to ensure we have a unit ready when you need it.  Reservation fees are applied to the first bill you will receive shortly after reserving your unit.  Cancelled reservations without an active rental will result in a $50 fee to cover processing and credit card expenses (we will refund your reservation fee minus $50).    

- We know accidents happen, so deposits are to make sure we have an ability to protect our investment and are able to provide a quality product to everyone who trusts us with their boats and RVs. Deposits are equal to one month's rent and will be used for any damage or cleaning required upon move out, as required.  If you leave your unit the way we gave it to you, your deposit will be returned upon moveout and inspection.


Do you have a security gate?

We know gates provide an additional level of security and piece of mind that your valuables are safe.  We installed a front-facing fence so unauthorized vehicles can not enter the property.  We offer a keypad for entry as well as a remote text to open feature from your cell phone.  Those instructions are sent to you after you begin your rental contract.

Do you have security lighting?

We have a security light over the entrance and are researching the best option and planning to have building security lights installed as well. 

What type of lock do I need?

While their are many types of locks to consider, the discus padlock provides a good amount of security.  This is only a suggestion and we do not guarantee, either explicitly or implied, this type of lock will prevent unauthorized entry into your unit.  Please research the type of lock you need to protect your valuables.

Do you have electrical outlets in the units?

YES!  We have 2 standard 110 v outlets as well as a 6-hour timer for the internal lighting.
